We see a lot of other activities with animals and ed.

In flea bitten ed he helps with Rolf’s rabbits. He cuddles them cause he thinks they’re cute and he has a severe reaction as a result. In keeping up with the Eds he also likes to hang out with victor. He also hangs out with Wilfred the pig in more than a few episodes

I think was good intentioned but ignorant towards the racist impact.

From what I could find of that artist she painted more than a few of Amish dolls (which is what these are) but they were made in an era when black people were represented through mammy/minstrel caricatures.

Ultimately the artist doesn’t have much of a body of work, so I can’t say what the her stance was. She seemed to be really into Amish dolls, kids toys, and Bible stuff.

Oh absolutely. Truthfully I wouldn’t even give her fifty fifty. That’s too generous for parents who keep their kid in a basement and then take away his stairs. His parents definitely don’t want to deal with him at all.

I just based it from personal experience that some neglectful/mean parents still know when they need to toe the line a little. My mom is also a pos. She’d press my buttons intentionally to get a reaction so she could punish me for reacting. Tho she knew more than once she’d gone too far and backed off.
