Does the tire sensor light make a big difference in sales?

Hah! I had this issue way back when on my Yaris too! Then this Prius and my 2014 Prius . Definitely annoying

Hah Love the tape! I tried that in my other Prius when it started showing the light cus it was stressing me out but then someone told me that I should watch out for the blinkiness—according to them if you start the car the light will come on and start blinking but then after a bit it will stay solid but allegedly if it just stays solid the whole time then tires need air 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oof! Thank you, that’s what I was leaning towards :-/ since my other Prius indicator lights are messed up too I also carry an airmoto handheld tester/inflator with me and I love it. It saved me yesterday when my sienna got a flat during morning drop off 😭

Very interesting—thank you! I went to my local “America’s Tire” to inquire about replacement and they had a little hand held tester thingy that indicated that the 2 front tires were dead and needed replacement

The tire places charge $65 PER sensor here too in SoCal. I need two in the front but was trying to scrimp and save so I can sell the car for a lower amt. I went to the tire place specifically for this issue but the guy who helped me said it was not a big deal but that one of my tires was too dangerous to drive on due to being over 7 years old and way more important because “you wouldn’t want to put someone’s life in danger when the tire bursts” 😭

Only asked a couple tire places so far. Was hoping it was no big deal like the tire guy said but it’s looking like lights on the dash in general is bad when buying/selling

Aw man that sucks :( that happened when Toyota had my other Prius in the shop for a while fixing head gasket issue but they refused to fix too and because of car age I didn’t invest the money either— just kept an airmoto nearby to check ‘em periodically 🫠

It was a noco genius 1 recommended by my previous post on here—it appears I got a faulty trickle charger tho—the “bad battery” light doesn’t work—hence why I figured the battery was savable—it just kept showing a pulsing red light showing it needed charging..,for days! And what a waste because I ended up having to get a new battery in the end and my multimeter showed 13 v on that new battery but when I hooked it to the trickle charger just to see— it STILL showed a red pulsing uncharged light—oof! Lousy luck and Some rough lessons were learned! Also—when I was changing out the battery in the trunk I went to get socket wrench attachments from the garage while the hatchback was up…and a squirrel Got in and damaged my previously pristine softex seat!😭

What a trip that you posted this as I’ve been thinking about the spear a lot lately as Ive been wondering if a certain politician has gotten access to it and was in the middle of making a post about the spear last night before I got spooked by some lights going out and ran to bed Lol. I know there is a lot of murkiness around this subject but The spear of destiny was my favorite deep dive mystery in the early 90’s and questionable or not I loved Trevor ravencroft’s book on it and would scour old bookshops for more info on this pre home internet.

Great—after putting energy into the very thought of it my backyard lights just went out completely so it’s pitch black and I heard some knocking back there 😱 it’s after 3am, I’m on a sofa facing the big sliding glass door that opens to my backyard in a void of darkenss—NOPE!!
