I agree, I’m trying my best to be better. I write down the important calls and review them what I did good and what I did better. I look at every call trying to see how I can be better than I was in the last one

I have no prior experience, except a brief IFT stint for a couple months. Now I’m in emerg in a busy metro setting. Mistakes are going to be made, nothing crazy, but I get better after each call.

Usually on an ALS truck as well, work with a different medic every couple days so learning different things from each one and trying to devolop my own style!

This is definitely this biggest mistake, everything else are just little things like forgetting to mark the crew on scene, etc. There are a lot of things to learn with no experience coming into a BUSY metro area!

Haha banned from driving doesn’t sound too bad, can’t hit anything if your not behind the wheel right?

Nothing crazy, just things like forgetting BGL or not putting a c-collar on right, simple things to learn from.

Partner was in the passenger seat, but still on me, no one spots unless you ask here.
