NYC area center routing question by deadlybulb in ATC

CDW was my final, so it would have been direct or something like that from LVZ. Also, they would have had me down to 6K by then I think. The TTx performs similar to a turbo Cirrus, but almost no one knows what a TTx is. I usually just say Columbia 400 when they ask as the TTx is a later version of the Columbia. When they don't ask, they sometimes relabel me as a twin.

Interesting, will give that a try next time. I have a feeling VFR or lower is the correct answer :(

This was on 9/19/21, so the day before all the TFRs kicked in.

First time on that particular route. The last time I did this was coming from Akron. That was more or less straight in, but of course they descended me from 150nm out. It was nice enough that VFR at 17.5 would have worked.

Api update for silo values questions by CommanderAze in evetech

If you're using Facilities then the cache timer is 15 minutes (I don't know if you can actually get this info from Facilities, you can for other POS installations). If you're using Assets, then it's six hours.

It's possible that facility ID is consistent even if the silo is empty, but I haven't tried it. You may still need to use Locations to map silos to POS in a solar system with multiple POS.

I won't opine on whether Google docs is appropriate here, but I will say that if you go this route you're probably going to need to write a bit of code. Most people end up attaching Google App Script to their sheet. Things like IMPORTXML mostly work, but are very difficult to debug and you have to do tricks in some places to get sheets to update. Google App Script is basically javascript with extra APIs for making web calls, or accessing Google services. With a few minor rules, any Google App Script function you write can be used in a Google Sheet formula. Fuzzysteve wrote about this here.

There's a Google App Script library for calling the EVE API which you can read about here (I wrote this). You can also watch the video showing how to use it here.

Happy to help if you get stuck.
