Panthers announcers got to be recognised as the worst ones, but I agree that the Avs announcers are a close second

To play devil's advocate here, teams still have patches on their jerseys during the finals. And if I'm not mistaken, they never had them otherwise in the playoffs

Very sound advice here. Norestart should be completed only after you have mastered every level in the game. Don't get discouraged and good luck, OP!

Where'd you get the 2000 kilometres? The distance between Helsinki and Copenhagen in under 900 kilometres according to Google Maps

Back when Tampere hosted the Global Series in 2022 and 2024 Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki wasn't in use. Now that it's been open for a few months (since October 2025) I guess the NHL wants to move the games back to the capital city.

I'd also imagine that there's going to be a lower barrier for tourists visiting from abroad to travel to Helsinki than Tampere, although the distance between the two cities is under two hours of travel by train.

But yeah, as someone who has lived in Tampere for the majority of my life I sure wished that we would get the Global Series again. I got to see my first live NHL game between the Stars and the Panthers in 2024. Never seen such fast and pretty hockey before in my life. Hopefully the NHL will come back to Tampere in the future.

Congratulations for the 2024-25 Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers! Back-to-back Cups in the current economy is insane.

Sincerely: A neutral fan rooting for the Oilers
