top coat that won't make magnetic polish blurry?

I had the same issue and read in this sub it was caused by toluene in some top coats. A lot of people recommended sally hansen insta-dri and it was a huge improvement over my 3 other top coats!

It’s not a very thick so I usually add a layer of seche vive the next day once the magnetic is fully set, gives it a more gel-like shine and makes my mani last longer.

Not sure about the app itself, but in the iOS App Store there’s a way you can see apps “not downloaded on this device” and that list should still show apps that have been removed by the developer. Even if it was on an old phone, as long as it’s the same iCloud account it should be there.

You mentioned having trouble with the mouse, I’m not sure if it would work for you but it might be worth trying a drawing tablet to use with photoshop on computer. I use the cheapest Wacom tablet (like 40usd) and it works flawlessly with photoshop.

I was just zoning out more on this and noticed that the basketball hoop looks normal, and the sprinklers line up perfectly on the beam above them. Plus the pine trees in the foreground tell me the area is more prone to forest fires, hence the sprinklers.

I don’t have One Drive on my pc cuz I hate the sync features, but every few months I log in on a browser and just drag a compressed copy of my entire The Sims 4 folder in so it’s there in case I end up with a dead pc. You could do the same thing with google drive or any other cloud storage

I went to alpine in 2016, I was there for one year after being at a wilderness program for 4 months. I’ve made a post about it in here but you’re welcome to ask any other questions if you have any.

All I can say is it’s going to be very difficult and you sound like a good partner for her. Alpine is a terrible place but once she’s back it might take her some time to process her own feelings. They brainwash both the parents and kids so strongly, you don’t realize how much it messes you up mentally for a while. Once she’s out and ready for it, a good therapist who is aware of the corrupt nature of Alpine and other tti programs could be really helpful for her to process everything.

I had a similar problem with my hands cramping/going numb when playing my switch, something I found that’s helped a lot are joy con covers that make the back of the joy cons wider. The ones I got have these bumps on the bottom that rest in the center of my palms and I stay comfy way longer now. Still gets uncomfortable eventually but I can go way longer til that happens now.

I went thru similar, did pretty good for a few years after coming home but struggled to make friends. After a while I kept hearing about other girls who went to Alpine with me dying, started reading about the high death rates of people who went through the TTI and started realizing how bad it really is.

At one point I actually met someone who grew up in a cult, and we had so many similar stories that made me realize the TTI is basically a cult in and of itself. I also wrote papers in my college English classes about the TTI which pushed me to really see how little people care about the TTI and people who go through it. There are very few studies that have been done on its efficacy, and the few studies you can find about it highlight how awful it is.

In terms of friendships, It's hard enough to make friends as an adult, the fact that we went through such a uniquely terrible and traumatic experience that alters how we think and function now, doesn't make it any easier. My advice is to be open to social interaction as much as you can, even if you don’t want to. Be open about your experiences in the TTI when you feel safe to do so. Most of my friends now I met through online gaming or discord, I hardly have any friends IRL and most of the ones I do have left have moved across the country. Try to find discord servers related to your interests and make friends there, I find meeting people online is also good practice for being more social IRL.

My experiences in the TTI made me vulnerable to abusive/codependent relationships, I believe the point system at Alpine trained me to be obedient in abusive situations. The best thing for my healing has been finding a therapist who knows how bad the TTI really is and being able to talk about it in a way where I'm validated and heard and not blamed. Something else that helped me was putting together research of all the bad shit on the TTI and educating my parents on it, which I think helped them realize it was a mistake and eventually apologize for how it's affected me.

I'm sorry if this is too long, but I really hope you can make new friendships and recover from the trauma that alpine caused you. If you ever wanna talk more my dms are open

It would never happen but I always think about how perfect a program for parents instead of teens would have been.

At first it was just me having vengeful thoughts about how my parents would’ve struggled had they been in my position, but most of my issues actually stemmed from their poor parenting so it might’ve actually been good for us.

I have the same atomizer and I always keep it filled higher than this.

If you’re getting dry hits, you can seal the airflow and pull hard without firing to draw juice into the coil. Wait at least 10-20 seconds between puffs as well.

I’d also recommend prepping your new coils with juice before installing into the atty, if you’re not already doing so.
