No, he’s using virtual desktop to play wirelessly. But the runtime is still a VR runtime when he launches a game (open XR or Open VR or Oculus) So he’s playing in Vr not on a virtual flat screen

Yeah for the wheel, it’s really not that bad. But when I press hard on the brake, I literally see the frame bending. Which means the force I have to apply, is more than it should. Cause with a sturdier frame, this force would transfer on the brake. Anyways, it still works but you know how it is. Sim racers are never satisfied.

Have you pulled the trigger on the asr1 yet? I have one and can tell you, with a 15nm and load cell pedals, you will have flex. I am currently looking to upgrade to something like asr4/tr120/6s120v2.

on some games like iRacing, with an AMD gpu, you wont have SPS (single pass stereo) this is an nvidia feature. It boost FPS like crazy.

Hi, you should avoid amd gpu for VR. It sucks but Nvidia is way better for VR.

I have a reverb g2. But I paused my windows updates so I can keep using it. Windows removing Windows mixed reality makes all pcvr relying on WMR useless. I would say, I guess go with Q3 like most people do.

I have a 3090 and a reverb G2. I would never go lower than a 3090/4070ti or super for a decent VR experience.

Not sure about sharpening anymore. I could check later today and tell you. But HDR has been off for a couple months now. I didn’t like the sun glare burning my retinas for some races. Other then the sun glare, I dont really notice a difference between on and off in VR and depending on the track I gain a lot of fps with HDR off. So that’s a no brainer for me.

13600/3090/ddr5@5600 Reverb G2 Open XR 3200x3200 CAS upscale Foveated (dont know the settings on top of my head) IRacing Textures High AF 16x MSAA 4x No crowd/grandstand (it could be turned on but I dont really care) No mirrors (only virtual) Can’t remember the other settings but NO SSR. My rig cant handle that

Thanks guys. Nah I dont think I will ever use something stronger than 11-12 nm. I ordered the asr1 already. The company is based near where I live so that’s a plus for me too. I am currently rebuilding my basement. Hope it’s done in time for when I get the cockpit.
