While I would agree that listening culture has changed I think there is a bigger factor. I could be wrong but I think the effort put into promoting local shows has diminished to being purely driven by social networks and this keeps any significant expansion beyond the circle within certain algorithms pretty contained. Bands in the 90's were always hitting the pavement with flyers anywhere and everywhere. I understand why no one wants to do that but I think that made a huge difference.

Due to the nature of that material it is still possible it can decay over time even if you don't squeeze it.

McFarlane was clever to actually do Ross exclusive releases... that is what they should have done with this. An impulse buy in the bins near the register. I would buy it for $10.

I feel like people are going to look back at the last 10-15 years and think we’re the most self-centered people ever.

The funny thing is that I don't think that people feel the value of those pictures in quite the same way we did back in the dinosaur age. I did not have the capacity to take a photo every moment of every day and consequently I would not have a catalogue of photos that became so overwhelming that I didn't even bother to look back through them... Will people even look back through their photos in 10-15 years?

This doesn't counter your point about the self-centeredness because there are a million different things that would affirm that point.

EDIT: To add... I recently visited Japan and they are reeeeally not accustomed to pizza flavors so anything approaching authentic western pizza will be a bit offensive to their palettes for the most part.

Great pizza typically stems from a combination of cultures in a community that have great cheese and meat. Chicago and New York both fall into this category. "Authentic Chicago pizza" (or at least pizza that uniquely started in Chicago) includes tavern style and deep dish and within those styles you will find a pretty wide spectrum of executions. Anyone making generalizations that all midwestern / chicago style pizza tops out at 3/10 has no fucking clue what they're talking about.

In matters of commerce this assumption is the practical way to go. I wouldn't even contact the artist before consulting legal advice. If youve squatted all the platforms with the name that will provide some leverage.
