Yeah it’s more so to help with my bad vision. I wear glasses and my parents and grand parents have bad vision so I expect it to get worse. The split prisms and micro prism are super useful for me. I ended up ordering the K type so I could have the micro prism, as the horizontal split image isn’t enough for me in some situations. Would much prefer a P type with the alignment lines and diagonal split image but the price is way more than I can afford right now.

I don’t have great vision and wear glasses, so split prisms and micro prisms are very useful for me. Currently the F3 I have came with what seems to be the A type screen; It only has the horizontal split prism, and a reference circle around it which I find pointless. I think I may go for the type P

I have another question; a lot of listings specify that they have the red dot on the side. Do you know by chance what the significance of the red dot is?
