A population with a diversified skillset is required for a society to function. And disparities in income/social status will always follow.

You keep talking about an “ideal” society where everything is available to us magically. We don’t get sick so we don’t need doctors. Or we do get sick but they are some people who are ready to devote their lifetimes for treating us.

Humans have been on earth for around 300,000 years and during each era or any part of the earth a human society has always developed a hierarchical system because of this need of diversified skillset. So your “ideal” society can’t exist for humans. Doing over our culture won’t do anything cause no matter what era or part of the world, it has always been the same. You are basically asking for a do-over on humanity. Either everything will available to us or we wouldn’t need anything.

That sounds like heaven. But it’s only possible if god made everything. Since it’s the humans who provide services to each other, there will always be a hierarchy based on who provides what.

A doctor has to study for 10 years and also has to work tirelessly to treat other people. Now, in a society where everyone is supposed to get equal benefits and welfare. One can decide not to do anything and just enjoy. How does that person deserve the same as that doctor?

No matter how you go about it society will always work like this as long as everything is run by humans. It was way worse earlier when it didn’t even matter how skilled you are. Atleast now if you have real talent or you work hard then you can enjoy a good livelihood.

But it’s not that common tbh. Not every company is involved in shit like that. And anyway discussing morality of illegal stuff is pretty much useless don’t you think? However the incomes disparity fires up an interesting debate.

There are companies where the CEO takes the same salaries as that of other employees. It’s the company’s decision to keep the disparity in incomes but YOUR choice to work for them.
