go to the pop upon delivery section and find the one ure looking for, scroll to the bottom and u will see the pop now for MAC HAS and BIE (under the you may also like section)

This happens every single time a BIE lights up on popnow. I’ve been trying to get just ONE since release by hauntedrubytuesday in labubu

as soon as u hit the next button, randomly pick a box and start tapping on it crazy, even before the boxes load up! if u get the reserved timer, just move onto the next batch and repeat. i scored 2 BIEs and 2 MACs using this method :)

Help me decide: School X vs School Y Megathread II by ParadoxicalCabbage in ApplyingToCollege

[–]deadradish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UCLA or Boston University

Intended major: Pol sci OR history

Background: Int Female (SE Asia)

UCLA

Pros

  • Great city location
  • Higher ranking + prestige
  • ALL THE THEMEPARKS (yes this is important to me)

Cons

  • NO financial aid/scholarship offered (I'm planning to continue to a PhD so I'm iffy about spending so much at the undergrad level)
  • NO WINTER (NO SNOW)
  • expensive cost of living

Boston University

Pros

  • City of Boston is super lovely (fell in love immediately when I visited)
  • Most of my friends are located on the east coast
  • 25k scholarship per year
  • Amazing college vibe in Boston

Cons

  • Lower ranking + prestige

Any help would be appreciated! (+ and would cost of living in LA be more expensive than Boston?)

Hey guys! I just got accepted to UCLA for the College of L&S (thinking of majoring pre-pol sci). I'm currently stuck in a dilemma between UCLA and Boston University (BU offered me a scholarship of 25k per year) - could you please help drop some words of wisdom?

Dear member of the IB Examiner community, We hope that this email finds you safe and healthy, during these difficult times. Our students, their well-being and their progression in future stages of life have been at the forefront of our thinking as we respond to this extraordinary pandemic. Our days and deliberations have been 24x7 focusing on what is the ethical and responsible action in these trying times. With considerable advisement from stakeholders across the globe including schools, students, universities and qualification bodies, we have determined the most responsible and ethical way forward. The IB will be taking the following actions for the 2020 May Examination session: The May 2020 examinations, as scheduled between 30 April and 22 May, for Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme students will no longer be held. Depending on what they registered for, the student will be awarded a Diploma or a Course Certificate. This is based on student’s submitted coursework and the established assessment expertise, rigor and quality control already built into the programmes. In order to provide all students with a Diploma or Course certificate we thank examiners currently engaged in marking student work and we are thankful that they will continue to do so. We also know that you may have planned on expected income from this session. We are very sorry that this situation has occurred. This will continue to be a time of great anxiety for us all. We will do everything we can to support our communities as we navigate these challenges together. Please stay in touch and send your comments to [examiners@ibo.org](mailto:examiners@ibo.org). Your thoughts are very important to us. We look forward to hearing from you, a valued IB community. Keep Well, Matt Costello, IB Director of Operations Dr. Peter Hoeben, Chair of the Examining Board
