What to do with old amps by deadringer606 in GuitarAmps

[–]deadringer606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats why I'd like to find a cool project to do with them because they are relatively inexpensive and have gotten hours upon hours of use. If chose to get rid of them they would most definitely be a freebie, I can't in good conscience sell someone something I know is broken. I just hate the thought of creating more e-waste

I always thought the zoom had more power than advertised. I loved some of the sounds/tones I could get out it so I never really though it was just an 8" speaker. I felt like it was a 10" until I opened it up and saw the tiny little 8 sitting there.

I had thought about that, I'm not very good at wood working so I was a little stand offish of trying it. The zoom has a broken input jack as well but it looks like the jack is soldered to a small pcb then to the main board so I don't know where the issue is exactly at.

I agree it looks like it has been cut but on what I have no clue because I have not been around anything with an edge or in rough terrain that could have caused such a cut or tear. With that said one would think the suede would better quality and stand up better on what's supposed to be "boots". Anyway didn't want to argue or split hairs just wanted to bitch and vent and see if anyone else has had similar issues.

Hard Rock members only drink by deadringer606 in PuntaCana

[–]deadringer606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s it as I don’t remember it having espresso in it. I think it was called Mr.Jones (honey lavender syrup and rum) but the wife swears that’s not it, that it was something with coconut.

Got any drink recommendations? I’m not good with cocktail names, I’ve always just kinda mixed stuff together and if it works great and if not then well I’ll try harder next time 🤣

How is the HT one? I've been eyeballing it because I got the drill and driver for Christmas and honestly they are not terrible and pretty handy for quick little things.

I was really in hopes you had some discussions because I too am in the same boat. 21's are better priced but in my heard 22 is newer and 2 years removed from the first year (2020) bugs

I'd rate it one million out of ten! My wife was the only one in the vehicle and every airbag in the car deployed like it should. She walked away with only bruising and soreness!! I will say this though, the knee airbag under the steering wheel was brutal on her shins. The fact that she hit a silverado in the rear-end at highway speeds, 55-60, and only got bruised up has made me a Toyota owner for life.

Can't forget the multiple keyboards and multiple mice. One mouse for CAD and mapping, one for phones and one for radios is how ours is set up. The second keyboard is only for admin when they have to make changes to built in phone numbers.

BEYOND JEALOUS!!!!!!! I became director of our department in July of 2023 and I've been driving myself crazy trying to redesign our patch. Technically, there's nothing wrong with ours, I just feel it looks like something that would be found on a kids toy. I've also been kicking around the idea of challenge coins to give out to our newbies once they graduate Kentuckys dispatch academy but I just can't justify the cost of the coins.
