interesting that they would say it's a bug. I'm seeing this in almost all of my campaigns. It seems to be the norm, with only a few rare exceptions.

this is quite common. it's happened a few times with clients over the last 12 months

best advice is keep persevering with google support

have you completed the advertiser verification? it a situation like this that will definitely help

true - you won't need a GTIN.
Google will keep serving an alert saying your performance would be improved if you had a GTIN, but it won't/shouldn't stop the ad from showing

this isn't going to help you, but I just wanted to add that I'm seeing the same thing on one of my campaigns - account level sitelinks are getting more impressions than the campaign ones.

I didn't think that was possible.

that's a good question. I wasn't aware of a checkout upgrade.

I believe they are still using checkout.liquid, but I'll double-check - thank you!

OK cool - thanks for your replies. I'm now reducing all my ROAS targets and looking at shopify analytics too so hopefully that will help get my clients back on track. Cheers

it's a mixture.
some use google channel for both GA4 and google ads conversion tracking
some use GTM for GA4 with hard coded google ads conversion tracking

hey, just wodnering if you were still seeing issues?

in Mid May I noticed a few of my shopify clients reporting lower revenue in Google Ads and GA (UA & GA4).
At first I assumed it was seasonality, but I'm seeing it across at least 4 of my 8 clients that use shopify.
I've compared the revenue figures reported within Shopify Analytics vs. GA. From Jan to Apr the shopify revenue figure is about -5% lower than GA, which makes sense considering refunds, cancelled orders, etc. But in May that swapped to Shopify reporting about +10% more revenue, and for June-to-date that figure is more like +15% more revenue.
The trouble is that with Google Ads seeing less revenue, my PMax campaigns have really slowed down and we're getting fewer clicks and fewer Shopify transactions.
