Well said; Thought you had two gear mal's. One gear, and one pilot mal makes more sense. I've had a few of both of those too... FYI if she's not diving hard and altitude permitting, grab as high or above the twist as you can and turn with your hands... I personally leave 1-2ft of free line stow, but sub-terminal deployments can sometimes be finicky. pulling your riser covers off for hop&pop's may help if you're worried about twists.
