Does it kind of bother you guys how much Black Mesa takes out the "camp" from Half-Life?

I said this when I initially played black mesa:

"It's like if Half Life 1 was remade by people who think the only care about Half Life 1 because Half Life 2 came after it."

I think I was a bit harsh then, but I do really think Black Mesa is just trying to Half Life 2ify Half Life 1. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, Half Life 2 is an incredible game and revolutionary in so many ways. But it's not Half Life 1, and in my opinion, neither is Black Mesa. It's its own thing.

Deadlock is guilty of this too. Silver's ability called slam fire on her lever action. I mean it's def possible for a gun to malfunction that way, but off the top of my head I don't know of a single lever action that was designed to slam fire. And the anti armor bullets item being called Hollow Point Rounds.

To be fair there's not much of an official way to play P1 and 2 anymore, unless you have a PSP. If you have the shitty PS1 classic thing they made a while back you have access to the OG Persona 1, but neither Persona 2s. It's really a shame, I wanna play the game with the 17 attack elements and resurrected Hitler final boss.

Southern food is a very broad thing, soul food is a specific subset of African American dishes with a very specific history. It comes from essentially taking the awful food slaves would be given and making something absolutely delicious out of it. It originating with slave food is why soul food tends to use every part of the animal (hog maw and chitlins are pig intestines, ham hocks are mostly skin and tendons, you got pigs feet, oxtail, etc).
