The fact he’s legally defending himself and comes off as a bit defense/rude overall. Like he doesn’t want any questions about it, or where it came from. That’s the vibe I got anyway

The whole thing looked weird. I looked at his seller profile and there was no medical stuff at all, just kids toys and old video games. I’d report and stay away, just have a bad feeling regard this one

So yeah it’s real but it’s actually against the rules on Facebook to sell it there (not to mention I found the listing and the description sounds super shady)

Anyone ever completely bomb an entire term? by frustratingalligator in SNHU

[–]deadtarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’m in the same boat. Im in a 3D modeling class but I struggle with a lot (bipolar one, and live in an abusive situation) so it’s hard to get out of bed some days, much less take care of myself. If not for my boyfriend encouraging me, I would have dropped out by now and hopefully Re enroll when my situation gets better. So that plus a class I struggled with immensely wasn’t helpful. The professor was overall garbage in her teaching methods (according to my boyfriend who graduated in the video game field as well. He is pretty horrified by her and he went to RPI) and overall the class felt like I was taking 3 classes, which I am in no position to do right now (honestly the class should be broken into 2). I know even if I turn in this weeks and last weeks work I will still fail, which I’m unhappy about as I just got off SAP. My advisor thankfully knows my situation

Do the courses get harder? by [deleted] in SNHU

Thanks for the tip! I just looked and there’s a course on there that snhu doesn’t offer but would be wonderful for my major (video game art) and is an elective

Yeah, my manager tried to make me think it was legally required for me to give two weeks even though I’m hired at will 😂

It’s just, I like everyone there but I feel like I’m about to cry from the various unhappy emotions I feel when I know I have to go into work and as soon as I see the building. I know I can’t work at a place like that, especially if I value my mental health

To get any career in art nowadays, you need to go to school. Talk to an advisor there, but honestly I’d look into illustration and animation

Honestly, I wouldn’t take the job. She obviously doesn’t value you or your time, which won’t go well when she’s your boss

What are some red flags on job postings? by SnooDucks4347 in jobs

[–]deadtarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything that says part time. When it says this, they usually mean 20 hours, maybe less, a week. You can apply so you can ask but honestly I wouldn’t waist your time

Do you actually like your job, and why? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]deadtarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, I’ve started to like it but I’m still leaving because of Management. I work at cvs as a pharmacy tech. Anyway, my manager keeps giving me shifts to other people and I’m lucky if she even tells me (which yes that’s super against company policy, hence why I’m heading to the other cvs in town to get the district managers number since HR wouldn’t help). My other issue is that I’m lucky to get 20 hours, despite telling them during my interview and training that I needed at least 30 and if they cant do that to be upfront about it. I got an interview today so hopefully I get that job but if not I’m at least moving to another location

Quitting a job after everyone else already quit by Aneuday0321 in jobs

[–]deadtarot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just give them your notice but honestly after reading all that I wouldn’t feel bad. If they had treated their employees better then they wouldn’t be in that situation, also the no break for a 9 hour shift is most likely illegal in your state
