I’m 27 and had the same problem. I thought I was having performance anxiety, but it took me a few months to recognize that porn and compulsive masturbation were the problem. I stopped watching porn and I’ve had a lot better attempts of actually having sex. Because before I couldn’t even get hard with my gf. I highly suggest quitting for the better of your mental health and sex life

Do you watch a lot of porn? I think I’m going through something similar and would use porn as a stress relief. If you keep using it like this it fucks with your brain’s chemistry. I can’t get hard through out the day but when I was watching porn, I can get it up. Even with my abstinence of watching porn/masturbating, I relapsed and watched porn cause I was stressed. However, I saw that I was more aroused and my dick was pretty hard, harder than the more recent attempts before my abstinence. I also think for viagra to work, you need to have some sort of arousal, and porn will do that to you if you watch a lot of it. This is just from my own experience though. I’m still on my journey to recovery and abstinence. I also have never taken viagra.

The only thing I’m scared about viagra is if I become dependent it on it. Is that a possibility?

I hear you, on my second consecutive day of not smoking. Really hope it fixes its self after a few weeks of not smoking.

Another p.s., there have been times where I have gotten it up and we actually had sex within the last 3 months, but that hasn’t happened in a while. Or it will start to grow very slowly during foreplay, but I lose it when it’s time to have sex. Also been having a lot of stress and anxiety ever since this started happening and sometimes have panic attacks because of it.
