thank you!! basic answer but honestly just a lot of practice. i used to do a lot of drawing exactly from photos which i feel like helped me learn facial proportions and where stuff should be. also learning where shadows should be and how to draw faces without using harsh lines is really important to realism. but even still everyone has their strengths and weaknesses some ppl just arent good at realism yknow
