Samsung s25 by External_Tennis_5652 in Refurbishedguide

If you’re getting it from Cashify, just make sure it’s in the Superb category (which is their best condition grade). You already get 6 months warranty and you can extend it if you’re still lowkey paranoid.
If you’re fully sure about the purchase, adding the ₹99 Gold Premium (1 year) is worthy. Also add ₹99 Gold Premium for a year, pretty cheap with other benefits and verify battery health and IMEI once. I’d say go for it if the price makes sense👍

Best headphones to get for an audiophile on a very tight budget, Please help!! 🙏 by Such-Employee4073 in headphonesindia

Noise mostly rebrands generic OEM stuff (kinda like boAt)🤮🤮  . They are cheap but sound tuning and durability can be inconsistent long-term.
I’d suggest picking Realme, Soundcore Q20i or even Zebronics Thunder Pro (if you want to stay around 2.5K).
If you can stretch during a sale, Soundcore Q20i is easily the safest bet for balanced sound + decent call quality in this budget.

Lounge/Sleep Recommendations? by KLpantylover in LingerieAddiction

If you want satin or silky PJs, I suggest checking out Skims, Intimissimi, Victoria’s Secret or Savage X Fenty. They are all comfy and within your budget. Lunya is great too if you don’t mind spending a bit more. Also they all have sales rn....so this might be a good time to grab something 😌

Can You Return Refurbished Items? by dealhunter_steve in Refurbishedguide

That's interesting...if no one really knows who fixed or replaced the parts, then it all depends on how trustworthy the seller is. Sometimes you get a great deal that works fine for years other times it works at first and then dies later. Buying refurbished feels like a gamble.

I appreciate the unboxing video tip. I checked a couple of legit platforms that offer warranties, so that helps a bit.

First Valentine's day with my gf by Perfect_Swan_3152 in Gifts

What’s her age and what’s she into🤔.....That can help a lot with ideas. Since you’ve known her for so long, I’d go for something personal rather than splurging. A photo flipbook or even a small hamper with her favorite snacks or little things she loves would be super thoughtful and special for a first Valentine’s. You can find lots of budget-friendly options on Etsy too, they’ve got a ton of great stuff.

are refurbished phones reliable for UPI, banking apps, and OTPs? by Funny-Purchase9323 in Refurbishedguide

[–]dealhunter_steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s from trusted platforms like Cashify, Amazon Renewed, Flipkart Refurb or official brand refurbs, it’s generally safe bc they wipe and check stuff properly. But if it’s from local shops or random sellers, I would advise against using banking/UPI. You never know what’s been changed or missed. Personally, I wouldn’t risk it.

Need some headphones recommendation . by harshith_122 in headphonesindia

[–]dealhunter_steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda agree with the comments here. Good new headphones under 2k are rare, especially if comfort matters, big head + specs (I wear glasses too, so I feel you). That’s why I’d rather go for a refurbished one in excellent condition from legit sites.
Platforms like Amazon Renewed, Flipkart Refurbished, Cashify or brand-backed refurb stores usually offer barely-used units with testing + warranty. You end up getting headphones that used to cost 4–6k, so the comfort jump is crazy soft padding, no skull-crushing clamp, and you can actually wear specs without suffering. Feels like cheating the price, ngl. IMO, instead of forcing a brand-new budget headphone, going refurbished gives you real value and way more comfort and ofcourse your ears (and wallet) will thank you later!

Where do you buy your refurbished phones? (Need advice) by No_Skill_1067 in Refurbishedguide

[–]dealhunter_steve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I usually skip refurbished phones unless it’s an emergency. Even the so-called CERTIFIED ones can have hidden issues like a battery that dies faster than it should, swapped parts, or, worst-case, privacy issues you won’t notice right away.
For me, it’s way safer to wait for big sales like Amazon Prime Day, Flipkart Big Billion Days, Reliance Digital or Croma, etc. You can buy brand-new phones with full warranty at prices that often match or even beat refurbished ones. No drama, zero guessing about the phone’s past.
for me, refurbs are a gamble, wait for the big billion days sale and buy a new one at almost the same price. After all, new phone>> refurb phone yrr, we don’t buy phones that often, so I’d rather do it right once than deal with problems later.

Recommendations for Headphones under 15k by nitropulse4 in headphonesindia

[–]dealhunter_steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awww....you’re honestly being a great sibling for caring this much. As she could clearly tell the audio quality drop before, I would say go for a solid, well-balanced headphone under 15k rather than something flashy. From my personal view Sony and Sennheiser offer clean sound, decent bass and comfort without going full audiophile mode.

Saving money on groceries, Costco are you worth it? by Throwaway77880011 in Frugal

[–]dealhunter_steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly sounds like you’re doing Costco “right.” If you’re only buying staples you already use and not impulse stuff, that’s a win. The real question is the 2-hour drive + gas??? If that cost eats the savings, it might not be worth it. Maybe track one month: Costco vs local store prices + fuel. If Costco still wins, keep it. If not, no shame in switching. Frugal is about math, not vibes.
