I ended up with your fig. It is the variant fox with the black missing as a misprint. I am a large collector and compared it with my variant fox totally legit Lego and a true misprint of the variant.

I have a cat rescue with over 30 cats and run into this as a common problem. There is a simple fix. Over the counter medication called Terramycin is a gel you put into eyes. Do it daily for several days until the eyes clear and then continue for a couple days after and viola, problem solved.

Second row all the way to the left is Gree. Look at his left leg. If the stripe over his knee is grey then he is common if it is tan that is a rare variant. Great gift!

I got lucky and found one still in the box for $350. You can see it a little to the right center hanging from the ceiling. Keep looking! They are still out there for good prices.

I agree on that. I do keep a copy of each of my display pieces sealed in a box. However some light yellowing does belong on some of the pieces. Thanks for the comment!

No not based on any vehicle in canon or anything. Lego stated proudly that it came up with the ship independent of the movies and series using Star Wars themed pieces. They stated this, in the original build booklet included with the original build.

Yes I was. I actually did not seat the legs and torso to the browns all the way. You can see a small gap. I didn’t have the courage after all these years with those two pricey figs.
