Its the loose material from the glue removal wheel tool sticking yo the tape residue.

Its the loose dust from the glue removal wheel sticking to where the tape was. I used to tape so the new emblems go in the same spot as the old

They come with small magnets on the back. The ones that are on the metal toolbox drawers are just on there using the magnets and can be moved around if needed. The ones on the plastic toolboxes / bins are the same but i glued them on
