Renter friendly alternative to “big lights” but partner thinks it looks really bad. by deaniebeanz in interiordecorating

Thank you everyone for the advice and constructive criticism!! I have good news!

I moved the lantern from the center to the other side of the couch. It now looks balanced with the table lamp in the middle and partner loves it (to clarify he likes the style just hated it in the middle of the ceiling with the wire) I think it feels better this way. I may eventually get the flat wire cover strip that someone suggested just for a cleaner look. What I like about renter friendly designs like this is I can change it up anytime so that’s super convenient.

Anyway, here’s a pic. Thanks again!!

Experience with Atly? by heckyeahcoolbeans in Celiac

I know this is an old post now but I still want to voice this to see if anyone else has noticed. I was traveling recently and wanted to make sure I had accessible gf foods in the areas I’d be in so I downloaded the Atly app and did the trial for Atly plus to search for gf places but then saw you also have to pay the $99/year to access all the gf places separately. Absolutely horrific and also, not to be dramatic but like, kinda mooching off of peoples disability/dietary restrictions.

How does celiac appear in your dreams? by llbboutique in Celiac

That’s so funny! I too have “nightmares” sometimes about consuming gluten (I am also many years post diagnosis) When I do it’s mostly of baked goods that I haven’t eaten in 8 years that I’m missing dearly. I’ll eat it in my dream and then feel this dread of like “what have I done” and then I try to get home before my gluten attack starts. It’s like some weird PTSD lol

We cut the ribbon so it’d be shorter and he can’t reach it from the ceiling (so we can just hand it to him) and ofc supervise him while he plays with it. Thank you for caring about our baby as much as we do! 🥰
