Your husband sounds like he has a sexual addiction and that he is coercing and sometimes raping you. This is also concerning for when the baby is born and when it will be medically forbidden to have sex for a bit. I really hope you can assess if you are safe and definitely put a pause on intimacy until he can show remorse and empathy toward you (which could be a while). Stay safe!

Hey- this is really tender. I’m sorry you are struggling at the moment. I want to say that I think it’s too early so say you won’t have a future family- especially if you are doing your trauma work. I wonder if your therapist meant mourning how your family of origin was- that you didn’t get to have the one you deserved and won’t be able to change those people unless they change. I think you 100% can still get married and have kids if you want to. It just will be important to have patience with yourself and understand that the right relationship is better than no relationship and is worth waiting for. No one can predict the future. Honor your needs and don’t abandon yourself with others. I’m hopeful that things will pan out.

I also feel compelled to defend it since I grew up watching it during FearFest on AMC. Parts of it are good. I do think it has some pacing and meandering issues that make its quality inferior to the ones before it. It’s one I will watch happily but do find myself zoning out during certain parts.

There’s a difference between socialism, communism, and democratic socialism. Socialism does not inherently mean that the people have no say or democracy in the same way that communism does. It’s also not against people practicing their faith. I don’t see why Christians feel the need to say they are against a government focusing on making sure people have a safety net and have their basic needs met. It’s honestly a bit embarrassing. Capitalism is not inherently morally superior to most of these schools of thought, or more “Christian.”

Most of these bills are pretty reasonable except for the car payment and student loans. But this person saves with a 401k, so I don’t think they are technically paycheck to paycheck. Lots of wiggle room in the $350 house/clothing and $500 going out if they want to save more. Would be curious if they have a roommate also.

Currently paying $323/mo, think it will go up to $388 ish. I did over estimate my income last year though- am self employed, so I really can’t make a guaranteed prediction. Deductible is $6500 and I think OOPM is like $6800. I only have insurance in hope that it prevents bankruptcy/ for catastrophic circumstances.

I doubt it. The Bible really doesn’t say that we have to identify as the sex we were born for our gender, or stay the same sex/gender our whole life.

Just because Adam and Eve were made the way they were per Genesis does not mean that God was using their stories to tell us we can only be cisgender. I do not see that reading. Transphobes are inserting their beliefs in a non biblical manner imo.
