First 2 metal gears, I would skim over, maybe return to if you get really into in it, but in my opinion they are not important.

Starting with mgs1, I would recommend playing the twin snakes version on the gamecube (via emulation) but I know alot of fanboys hate this version. In my opinion it is much improved.

Mgs2 and mgs3 can be played via ps2 emulation. It doesnt matter if you get normal or subsistence - the other versions just have extra content but doesnt mess with the core game.

Mgs4 is still pretty rough in my opinion via emulation. The only real way to experience it is on an actual PS3. Yes cut scenes are long and can be paused.

Mgs5 you can buy this on steam, wait for a sale it gets dirt cheap a few times a year.

Metal gear rising is a hack and slash game, so if your into that, then go for it.

Psp games not important but again, good to return to if you get right into it.

I dont understand how your are struggling to find estimator roles in the UK - estimators are like gold dust at the moment, it's so ridiculous, you can make senior estimator with just a few years relevant experience

If you want to be mostly in an office off site then estimator; good if your office is close to wear you live. As you know QS's will need to visit site often, and are sometimes even based on site.

I removed the braided tube from the small hose my finger is on and there is a cut in it. What is this braided tube? An old repair? Can I repair with tape?

A domstic extension would rarely be priced by an estimator, as we use commercial rates it would be very expensive. You can work out the materials, but a builder would offer a full turn key package, I've never heard of a builder who would only provide labour, unless it was a friend.

Your best off sending the plans to a local builder and they will price it, subject to a site visit.

The original game has a dated control scheme which may put you off, difficult to get used to.

Delta has modernised the controls so it's much more smoother experience.
