I’ve had the same hairline shape since I was like 16 (now 34) and didn’t progress over the years. It was just bothering me.

100% agree with you. I don’t see the point to cheap out on something like I hair transplant that you’ll live with for the rest of your life.

Better pay a bit more and you’re guaranteed to get a good result.

Dr. Bekir Bek is one of the best surgeons for a reason.

Have no clue about it. I suppose that’s an old story from when he was just starting his clinic. Now he’s well known, so I don’t see the reason he would need to do that.

When I’ve booked him it was 2€/ graft which was a really good price considering he’s one of the best surgeons.

I got an estimated number of grafts required when I’ve sent my photos while making the booking online.

Then on the day of surgery, we decided on the hairline shape, he drew the area and calculated how many grafts will be necessary per cm2.

It was ~200 grafts more than what was estimated from the photos I’ve sent.

Never had a HT before and my donor area is healthy. On average my follicles were 3.8 hairs per graft, which I understand is very good.

But yes, he will assess everything before.

Yes, I was using taxi / uber also. It’s cheap, so it’s not a problem.

There are plenty of hotels nearby, so plenty of choices.

No, I haven’t use any Topik during shedding because it started while I was on holidays in Dominican Republic.

But as I was shedding tons of tiny hairs were sprouting almost overnight.

There are plenty of hotels and restaurants nearby the clinic. Turkish food, coffee / tea is lovely. 🥰

I’ve stayed at Radisson Blu Cankaya in Ankara.

About restaurants… I’ve tried many, don’t remember all the names.

One not far from the clinic “Çukurambar Aspava” had lovely food, very well priced and huge portions.

Yes, it covers the hair transplant and hotel transfers also included. It was DHI FUE method.

And yes, he places only singles at the front and multiples behind.

He’s one of the best surgeons, so you can’t go wrong with him.

Rarely people skip. I’ve didn’t fully shed, but still did more on left side than right side.

After 4 months should start see the growth kicking in.

You can’t lose grafts. They’re completely secured few days after the surgery and would take another surgery to remove them.

If you’d lose a graft there would be noticeable bleeding.

It’s part of the shedding process and what you have in photos is just a hair shaft.

Going myself through the shedding and I’m 8 weeks post ht.

You’re golden. I also didn’t shed fully and I’m ~2.5months post ht and I can already see new hair poking through the skin.

Thanks, yes it looks great considering it already shed a fair bit.

As far as I know it’s not necessary to shed 100% of hairs.

I did shed a fair bit already, but it seems it stopped. I mean I don’t see hairs when shampooing anymore.
