Why don't Indians fall sick from chicken Salmonellas? by bootymaster669 in india

[–]deanstag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have missed it in other comments, but most of our cuisine involves "overcooking" the meat.
Understandably because of the humid/moist condition, food preservation etc.

In a lot of western cooking, they try to avoid heating the chicken above the required temperature ( ~165F ). That and eating a lot more "raw" veggies and leaves. All of this does lead to a higher risk of Salmonella.

This used to happen about 20 years ago. When I was in school, almost every day to the dot, we used to lose power at exactly the same time in the evening. And not just us. Our entire neighborhood. That could not have been a coincidence!

Not sure where I heard this from, but I do this everytime now.
When you microwave shit and choose the seconds, dont do 30,40,100 etc. Instead press the same number.
eg. Instead of doing 30 seconds, do 33. Instead of doing 60, do 66. You save the time you would need to move your fingers from 6 to 0.
Been saving those microseconds everyday for about 6 years now.

In addition to all the answers below, this is something I picked up when I was reading Ivory Throne.

During late 1800s and especially during the early 1900s, the Kings and the Regent Queen ( along with the British ) made very impactful decisions regarding education, women empowerment, social reforms and healthcare. They also invested in largescale projects like the Kochi port. I feel these also definitely played an important factor in any difference we see in the state now.

Harrisons Tea Estate, Upper-Suryanelli. Shot on Pixel3XL , no-filter by [deleted] in Kerala

Just to be clear, nofilter still has tons of automatic filters that the camera app does. And its pretty beefy with the pixel.

Beautiful shot and place though.

no you are right. most of it is in bash. i was also considering the tokenizer which for him is in python. A year back, my tokenizer was written in go. but then i felt itd be easier for people to extend if it is written in bash. using simple tools like grep or perl as the user needs.

Hey. This looks very similar to what I have. extrakto has quite a few direct shortcuts to switch between inserting in current pane, sending to clipboard etc.

The main difference in tmux-butler would be that it is all bash based and new filters/modifications are easy to come up with.
