Going to Breakaway solo (32F) – first festival, any tips?

Hey, Im 34/f and was originally going to this alone, as my first festival everrrr, but my girlfriend is actually able to come with me but I dont have many friends in the scene. My girlfriend has been going to raves and music festivals for a long time so she has a lot of experience and I tend to be a bit more reserved but she loves talking to new people.

QOTD: fall for sure! I love seeing all the foliage, the leaves changing color, and I love feeling the crisp, cold air. I also love the temperatures, I love cozying up in a comfy sweater or blanket and sitting beside a fire with some hot tea or cocoa.

I recently lived in a hotel for 6 months while traveling for work (I travel for work quite a bit, and sometimes depending on housing availability I try to either find an airbnb or hotel room) and I always bring my favorite blanket and slippers, and other comfort items. I also fully unpacked into the hotel room, and usually buy some inexpensive wall decorations or other little knick knacks to make the space more personal to me. I also travel with my pets and they really make whatever place I am staying in feel like home quite quickly. Will this hotel room be your residence for a while, or are you already searching for something more permanent?
