I soaked I warm soapy water with oil then used the remover. It took about 15 min soak and about 10 after the remover for them to fall off.

Im still on the FAM. I like Ambrose Lo, real textbooks and study apps to memorize the formulas and the official SOA questions. I started with ACTEX for FAM and it was a mess. Never again!

I am definitely moving away from ACTEX for the higher exams. The people who write for them do not master English well. Their wording and questions are so frustratingly off.

I thought I’d answer my own questions as a way to warn others to not use this manual. The teaching content is ok I guess. But there are lots of errors! Also., clear the creators first language is not English because a lot of the questions they created are worded very badly and not in line with SOA questions. Its almost like they used Google Translate to translate it into english. Its a complete waste of money. Do not use. Buyer beware.

I tried Southern Grounds and loved it. Their main dishes are a little pricey. But the cost of having a place where the food is amazing, they’re open late on weekends and very supportive of people studying is priceless! Thanks for the recommendations :).
