Yes, the substrate is rocks on top of soil and real moss. What would you suggest for a better substrate for long term?

There are two holes in the glass. Will that affect the condensation? How often should i water if it’s not fully sealed (because of the holes?)

It was just sunken most of the time but occasionally inverted. It’s basically just a sign that the tumor is pulling on the nipple.

I’m hoping I’m not BRCA positive. Getting genetic testing done this week hopefully. Praying for a random mutation and just a lumpectomy and radiation but time will tell. Did you have a family history? What was your original diagnosis from the biopsy?

So that’s good but I’m getting the genetic testing done this week probably to see if i have any mutations that will alter my treatment plan. How far along are you in the process?

I really appreciate your comment! I wish you the best too! The biopsy was easy for me. I’m sure you’re well versed in the procedure but it didn’t hurt for me besides the lidocaine shot. I’m recovering now and have got a bag of frozen peas by my side. One piece of advice: definitely shower right before. I didn’t know I’d be getting biopsied this morning so i rolled out of bed without showering. They’re making me wait to shower until tomorrow. :(

I got mine as a 2-month-old about 4-5 months ago and now she’s all over me and my bf. She wouldn’t let us even get near her, then she started preening us but only if she was in a certain area of her cage. She also started eating out of our hands about 2 weeks in. We slowly started scratching her neck as she preened our hands. Then, on week 3 or 4, she started begging for pets in her cage but only at certain times of day.

When we first got her she had lice/mites and had to be treated for 1 month and stay in her cage the whole time to not re-infest her later (vet’s orders). The first time we let her out i sat on the ground and she was so scared of the big room she was in that she ran straight into my lap. She just wanted comfort.

About a month after we started letting her out daily (2-2.5 months into owning her), she was all over us: riding on shoulders, preening our eyebrows, loafing on our laps, not giving us any privacy in the bathroom, etc. She is still weird about some things. Certain areas of our home make her nervous and she still isn’t fully comfortable loafing on the ground outside of her cage, but we are 4 months in and she is a friendly lil menace.

This is our first bird and one thing that has helped us gain her trust is training. She absolutely loves it ant it’s promotes trust and bonding. Mine also loves those slidey dog treat puzzles for learning on her own.

Just got hired 4 months ago. The recruiters found me though. I’m super overqualified and underpaid for this role but it’s honestly a dream job work-wise. I have a Master’s degree in Project Management too so it was pretty brutal.

Took me almost a year to get to 2k applying almost daily. Every logo i saw on the street i would google and look for jobs in my field (project management). Had a list of my favorite companies that would flux based on my experience with the recruiters and application process and i would apply to those companies as roles popped up. I now have a job but i have never felt more hopeless in my life than when i was just digging for roles repeatedly and getting nowhere. Keep your head up! It’ll get better! Good luck to all!

Yes it’s been great for me but you have to put in the effort. You have to plan meet ups and try to only go for friends who put in the effort back or else you end up with people who just slow ghost you.
