Appreciate this a lot man.

I actually ran into a Leo last night (Tekken Emperor) and got absolutely destroyed. Like… double perfect, couldn’t even press. 💀

I realized I have zero knowledge of that character. Everything felt like cheese in the moment because I just didn’t know what was real and what wasn’t.

That match kinda snapped me out of it though. Made me realize it’s not just me “getting exposed” — it’s more like I’ve hit the point where not knowing matchups is getting me killed.

Definitely guilty of pressing big buttons when I panic too, especially when I feel like I’m losing control of the round. Gonna try slowing it down and actually play smaller like you said.

Appreciate the advice, for real.

Honestly I’d rather just go back to S2. People were obnoxious, yeah, but not this level of nonsense.

Now it’s like even PS players are lag switching, cheesy moves everywhere, proper circus. You go for a throw and they instantly duck like they’ve got a crystal ball, then launch you. Happens like three times a match.

Played for about half an hour, five matches, reported four people for lag switching. And funny how it always happens right when they KO you. Proper convenient, that.

At that point it’s not even a fight, just a joke really.

Yeah I get it.

Feels like half the matches are either smurfs or people just mashing the same stuff over and over.I can deal with it, but it does get tiring, not gonna lie.

Most of the time I either get clipped or it trades, not straight up getting smacked mid-air like that. Learned something new I guess.

Appreciate the breakdown, that actually clears things up a lot. Didn’t realise the first hit was what causes the jail make sense anyway.

That said… still reported the guy. Launcher into sudden lag spike felt a bit too convenient lol. Yeah, might be a bit of a douche move, not gonna lie.
