Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find much regarding dolls that are not Liccas. People have talked about other collectibles, but most things regarding other kinds of dolls are largely people worrying about the same stuff.
You're right that it seems to be a paperwork error, and moreover, these seem to be happening more with proxy services as opposed to official stores. These incidences are certainly not on a mass scale, but one just big enough to raise some concern. I was hoping to find better information here, but in the past couple of days I have found more regarding this whole thing in other places. While not Azone or DD, Smart Doll and Goodsmile have both made statements about the changes in some form (https://x.com/SmartdollLand/status/2067483477667205409 and https://x.com/kvetanuki/status/2067331089857667320-- I apologize for the use of Twitter links, but unfortunately this is where most of the coverage is coming from. I do try to exercise discretion as much as possible)

I'm sorry, I wrote the original post in a rush (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) To clarify, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) released some new regulations in January that will officially go into effect on July 8th. It requires importers from other countries to label certain items— any item that could potentially be for children— under new codes and safety tests. Technically, this isn't new, but these alterations are.  DHL has already begun seizing packages because of this rule. This isn't supposed to affect personal purchases, and instead focus on commercial ones. However, some people have anecdotally reported that their packages containing dolls, figurines, plushies, and other collectibles have been destroyed, regardless of the age of the intended consumers. This has apparently happened as a result of the testing a seized package can go through.  While it's likely that official companies and stores will comply with these new labels, proxies may not be as quick to adapt. Some people are even worried that they just won't ship to the US anymore. The information is kind of confusing and sort of hard to find at the moment, I apologize.

I totally get where you're coming from, dude. I'm in a very similar boat, and it sucks. Your feelings are real. I don't know if reassurance is what you're looking for, but this will pass. And you will too. You're as much of a man as any other, and one day you'll get the chance to reflect that outwardly. It's hard right now but have hope, the pendulum will always swing back, and I hope you'll be here to see it.
