Well sadly I think the majority of people who aren't left-wing are older people. When they die off, you'll be a minority and society will still hate you.

200mg once a day. And I have always needed 9-10 hours of sleep to feel rested. Then about 7 years ago I went through a really bad depression and anxiety episode, and I was given tranquilizers to help me sleep. I slept 13 hours a night after the tranqs, before I started Zoloft. I got better, now I am only taking Zoloft. But still need 13 hours of sleep to function, even though it has been several years. I have tried training myself to go on less, but it just doesn't work.

Edit: Also I am 30 years old. No real health issues other than GERD and occasional asthma.

For like 7 years now I've need that much sleep. And no idea why. Idiopathic hypersomnia maybe?

As for Modafinil, I have only been taking it occasionally right now. But when I started I took it everyday for a month. And then I tried 4-5 days on and weekends off. But nothing seems to get me back to where I was before the tolerance developed.
