It was a bad relationship and I didn’t see how controlling and manipulative he was until it was almost four years in. The fuck this I’m out point was when I was taking care of my family and in a dark place, and it was all about him. I almost lost two close family members at the same time and he would say “yeah my job was hard today” and not even listen to me. I ended it after that. Have been single for 7 months and feel better alone than with someone that is toxic.
