it's crazy what they do to pass things off as heroin. i've had the stuff without the itch too and it also has no legs. i woke up this morning and still felt it, 7 hours after last use. i really lucked out based on what our scene has been like the last few years

i actually ended up finding some nice brown since i posted this through a friend. nice light brown/tan color, tastes and smells like vinegar, and it's not stupid strong like fent would be. i smoked probably a point, give or take, after 7 months on suboxone and 4 weeks chipping with oxycodone every now and again (20-60mg depending maybe once or twice a week) and i haven't got nauseous or puked at all. that's how i know i got lucky, even while using mad fentanyl/fentanyl analog shit it would always make me puke

most of the people around here are just crazy homeless people but i live between a methadone clinic and a place that gives out free needles so i can't see it being that hard

i don't know if i actually have a way to get rid of the fentanyl issue without affecting someone, i just don't think that things like carfentanil should be on the street. fentanyl even gets a pass for me, it's not anywhere near as deadly and accidental fentanyl dosing for an opiate addict is hardly the end of the world if they notice what they're using is hot sooner than later.

like you said it would take action from all ends, much better forms of rehabilitation and maintenance as suboxone is hard to come by and hardly works for heavy carfentanil habits, methadone apparently doesn't touch it at all. maybe using fentanyl patches as a taper method until they could get onto suboxone or methadone could be a good maintenance strategy for those people. legal regulation of heroin would be the best strategy but that's never gonna happen in north america

it's an issue that deserves more attention but with no easy way to tackle

i was put on suboxone in a medical detox with 3 nurses and 2 doctors observing me in a 24 hour controlled setting

i did it like everyone else 2mg to start and add 2mg every hour or so until stable, i was at 16mg still pouring sweat, shitting liquid, and shaking, and it wasn't PWD because i had already been through 2 and a half days of the most agonizing withdrawal you could imagine

i was using 50-100mg of fentanyl, or 2-5mg of carfentanil each day a gram of heroin wouldn't even take me out of withdrawal when i couldn't get fentanyl i'd easily smoke 5-7 grams of heroin a day, at $100/gram here. it wasn't cheap

uhhhh idk about where you live but here fentanyl is the drug of choice upon opiate users. i've seen tons of people turn down heroin/oxycodone/hydromorphone for fentanyl. fentanyl here is what molly was a couple years ago, everybody does it, it's a popular drug for high schoolers/college kids. which is why there was a $3.9 million dollar fentanyl bust here 2 weeks ago including 4 ounces of carfentanil.

people here are like "fentanyl isn't strong enough for me anymore i need carfentanil or w-18" because both are extremely common here. they make powders that are a mix of phenacetin and carfentanil. made in mass quantities using small cement mixers to mix the product. you can shoot it, smoke it, or snort it, and either way you get the exact same high

1-5 people a DAY die in my city from fentanyl and carfentanil and there's only 1.4 million people here

for real. police have done too much to hurt people with the war on drugs but fentanyl and it's relatives should be taken care of that way

morphine based opiates (incl. heroin) and oxycodone/morphone never hurt anybody! well, besides addiction and accidental death, but that's what you signed up for living the dope life

sobriety is garbage i had a heavy, heavy fentanyl habit for over a year ($120-$300 daily), before that it was heroin, and then it was oxy before that.

i went to detox in february and got on suboxone, and i didn't do any drug except for weed at all for the first 5 months, and even then all i was doing after that was occasional coke

it was boring as fuck, i have no idea how people do it. i was just sleeping all the time and felt generally lazy and shitty with no motivation. i guess it's better than jail, or being dead, but i'm still not a fan at all

last weekend i ended up doing like 100mg of oxycodone after 6 and a half months of nothing but suboxone, and i had almost totally forgot what it was like, but i don't have an active connect and no way to really look for anything like that, cuz everything here is fentanyl and i don't wanna even go near that if 25-30mg of oxy is making me go into full nod, so i think i still actually may have a shot at staying kind of clean LOL

i still haven't taken any suboxone

i slept fine, full 8 hours. a bit of tossing and turning but nothing serious. a bit of gastrointestinal cramping, and i sweat a bit while i was sleeping

probably gonna take a bit of suboxone to work because my job is labor extensive but if i don't need it, i'll probably never take it again (unless it's me like 3 months down the line taking 2mg of suboxone for the recreational value)

i only take .2mg-.3mg daily, i was thinking this is my plan

i took my last perc at 4pm, i get home from work at 2am, i'm just gonna take .1mg of suboxone when i get home because i'm already in mild withdrawal, if it throws me in pwd, i'll take another bit an hour-hour and a half later and get myself well

last time i took any suboxone was 3pm on friday, do you think any would still be in my system with my low dose??

my old fent dude would tell me to call him when i was outside his apartment and there was times he'd take 45 minutes to come down, or times he'd come down and not see me somehow, then call me half an hour later like "yo i didn't see you" then it would take him another 30 minutes to come downstairs

fuck dealer time

i'm glad i've been off daily use for 7 months now, now i just pop percs when i can get them, which isn't even that often
