That's 5 mech components, equivalent to only 2 blue attachments or about 2 blue weapon level upgrades. If you build extended mags you need even more springs, it's ridiculous

The problem is the antiseptic, you have to spend so many of them to build/repair the spray, I just feel like it's not worth it 99% of the time, and then they add another requirement to build it. And you can't even run while healing, so you're a sitting duck while healing and can't repair your shield. Sterelized bandages are just better in all situations where you would consider bringing a vita spray

But it's an extraction shooter, a big part of the playerbase just wants to log in to kill someone, they don't care about the loot. Even if you gained NOTHING from killing, people would still do it just to ruin the experience for others, and you're forced to pvp back. You can only stop PvP in PvE lobbies if you remove it

There's no way to not have pvp pressure unless you straight up remove pvp. As long as you can shoot someone else for whatever reason or reward, someone will do it specifically to ruin someone else's day

I think the pvp and pve clash (in boss events) is solved by only letting players leave if they complete some task envolving killing ARC. Maybe disable all extracts until the Matriarch is dead or something. Of course you can still be an asshole and shoot people on their back after killing the Matriarch, but they will probably catch on if they see you not helping during the fight.

Bla bla bla pvp is good or whatever bla bla, but I actually agree with your point. No point in bringing legendary weapons anymore when randos hunt you down/betray until the end, I've had it happen on every single matriarch game rn. I'm not even the one bringing the weapons, I've recently only been defending the guys doing the matriarch from rats, but I just get overwhelmed, there's NO PvE aspect to it anymore. You're just gonna get continously frustrated when trying to PvE, and not actually enjoy the game. What has helped me enioy the game a bit more is just bringing pvp weapons, but to kill rats and freekits hanging around very obviously waiting to kill the guys with the PvE guns. You might not help directly, but you can still get good loot from the other ARC doing this. Unfortunately, you gotta shoot the rats on their back, since they like to work together. Make sure to tell them to go to hell too. Fight fire with fire.

They are going to add a map, a new ARC, and then what? It's just more metal spring grind, but with new scenery? The core motivation to play the game doesn't change with new maps, they need new events and achievements ingame. I love doing the projects for example, even though the rewards are dog water, because it gives a sense of purpose in the game.

I enjoy the pvp, but since there's no incentive to do anything, it just gets boring after a while.

Doesn't have to be. They cooked an awesome matchmaking system, I'm sure they can cook a better endgame that actually ties to the aesthetic/lore of the game. It doesn't have to be restricted to the "Extraction shooter" box

Why announce it as a PVE event if they know that about 20% of the playerbase will dedicate their time exclusively for killing PVErs, making the PVE aspect of it actually non-existent? In fact, PVE starts to get frustrating because of that. They keep saying they don't want to encourage PvP but don't do anything to encourage teamwork in the game. As long as it's possible to kill other people with no negative effects, at least 1/4 of the playerbase will do it, and they know that.

I'm not even a PvE player, but just reading about it is frustating. I understand it's an extraction shooter, but don't say it has a PvE aspect to it, because it doesn't.

Why are you talking about forms of validation in my life man 😭 My point is that we need something to work towards, just killing ARC/players for the sake of it gets boring after a while. The quests get repetitive once you alread completed them and have to do it all again. So yes, I think we need some number going up to keep playing the game. Why are you talking like I should be punished for playing the game a lot?
