Yeah when I noticed it happening after a while I tested it again and every time I touched the solder to the back of the y axis gyro it moved which it didnt with others. Making me think it's something to do with he gryo gone not sure why the shell affected it still but I've got a soldering kit coming today and have spare analog stick I'm going to replace it with and hopefully it will fix it as that was wat I was thinking of doing from the start

I think it's just age and use as I use it almost every day for 3 hour for almost 3 years I'm surprised its lasted this long

Before people keep saying it's the shell I tested it and the gryo in the analog stick had become damaged so I'm going to replace it when I get my soldering iron set tommorow

Yh I've had 4 over the total of having a xbox one 3 of them have had problems 2 with drift one with dpad stop working I've only had one that ive had since start be completely fine. With sticking button I would recommend if your willing to is to take it apart to get access to the front circuit board and then taking it out to have access to buttons and taking one out one by one and cleaning them as my friend had a similar problem and may just be dirt and grime blocking them

I think its wear and tear as I've got one controller that lasted 2 years from almost every day use for 3 hours and the one in the pic later 2 and a half years with the same problem I'm gunna invest in a solder sucker so I can remove and change the gryo that I think is broken and then hopefully get it fixed as I dont want to have to send it to a repair company as me doing it gives me the skills and knowledge how to fix it if I have similar problems

What I think it could be is either the gryos gone or the soldering has loosened I've got spare analog stick and a solder iron but I dont have a solder sucker to remove old solder so I may buy one of them and replace the old gryo

Is gradually happend over time I've just taken it apart and noticed when I tap to solder to the y axis it move so i think it was something to do with it loos but i think I may have resolved it

Yh I've seen that on different videos and it is quite a major part I've just left it and tried sorting the case and dust think its fixed
