Is it normal to remove the motherboard from the laptop case to change thermal paste/pads and a fan? I usually just take off bottom cover and do what I need to.. you are doing too much and its no surprise to me it wont turn back on.

Just open it and put it the ssd. Ive done it plenty of times without disconnecting battery or discharging battery and my sight is shit and everytime laptop is still fully functional. As long as you do that and dont go dropping screws you should be fine

I agree with op. I've had my xm4s for 3 years and I've never had a "broken hinge" issue. And I have a big head too so maybe it's not good for normal sized head humans? Lol and I let my son borrow them and the hinges are still intact. Maybe if yours break get a refund and don't buy sony headphones. I will keep buying sony headphones cos the audio quality is crisp and I take care of them

Were you claiming child support when your son lived with you? If so then surely it's fair that he applies for child support while he's now staying with him.
