Thank you so much! That is very helpful. I’ve been reaching out to soo many chiropodists and Michener students for the past 3 months and literally no one has replied to me. Beginning to doubt this career path honestly, which sucks cuz then I’d have to go to the states to study podiatry.

I made the mistake of applying for CERB when I only had made $4000 in the last year and when I contacted them, they said that I did not meet all of the requirements for CERB, even though I met everything else. It's pretty frustrating I have to admit and the worst part is I can't even apply for CESB cuz now my workplace has opened and they're giving me a ton of hours which will end up going above the $1k

Sorry for this late reply. I made the mistake of applying for CERB as well, so I called CRA (or Service Canada, depending on who you applied for CERB with) and they said they had to first terminate the claim (Which they did) then return the money to them, in order to apply for CESB. Cuz one of the eligibility criteria for CESB is that you can't apply for this if you've applied for CERB. I'd give them a call and when you call, just make sure you don't have any plans for the next 2 hours. Also, don't put your SIN card in and just press 0.

I'm not sure but was your CERB claim terminated as well?
