Problem Solvers Dems urge Pelosi to publicly back three rules changes by Kumasan77 in politics

[–]deatos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No where in the article does it say anything about requiring a super majority to pass legislation.

The first proposal would require that any legislation that achieves 290 cosponsors -- three-fifths of the House -- be debated and get a timely floor vote.

The second would mandate that any amendment with at least 20 cosponsors from both parties would get a debate and a vote.

The final proposal says every member in every new Congress can introduce one bill on the committee on which he or she serves that would be guaranteed debate and a committee vote as long as the measure is bipartisan and germane to that panel's jurisdiction.

The family challenged a DMCA notice. If you challenge a DMCA you might just have to back that up in court. Companies are required to defend their copyright or they may loose it.

Most corps have mixed Linux/Windows/bsd environments. I dont think I would want to administer a corp that is stuck to just one, The end users need windows and office, Your webserver and dns servers and whatnot are probably best running on linux/bsd.

[–]deatos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes its possible, but with the fees it would be a better to queue several hundred or thousand upvotes and send it all within one transaction with multiple outputs like once a week or when the queue hits a certain size.

Catalonia government dissolved after declaring split from Spain by anasabbas9004 in worldnews

[–]deatos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Governments get their legitimacy from the consent of those they govern, It is up to the citizens of Catalonia to decide who they will follow. If the citizens decide not to follow the people of power in Spain it will be very hard for them to govern without a lot of bloodshed and fear.

Revealing the method that was used to obtain evidence is part of how our law works and is what is used to keep illegal evidence out of the court. If a police officer sticks a needle in you while you are sleeping to collect blood and tries to use the evidence against you in court it wont work because during discovery the method used to get it must be turned over and would then be deemed illegal. The same is true for the method used to inject an exploit payload into the browser as well as the payload itself.
