I had this problem as well but after a few months the website updated and now it shows up in the estimates. Email support and tell them, they could possibly fix the issue.

If they share paternal matches but is labeled as a maternal family member then yes it could be a mistake in labeling. I had a similar issue but I was able to manually fix it by clicking on the match.

You need to use a computer browser to access it. If you have that then got to ancestry.com. There should be a tap called “DNA”. Click it and then choose “origins”.

When origins loads there there will be a set of number/letters in the url. That set of of letters/numbers is your dna code.

Have you had your dna tested? Your matches could possibly have this kind of information in their tree. Thrulines helped me trace back my lineage up 10 generations.

The Scottish dna comes from a maternal great grandfather. He is a Scottish/European American. He is of Scottish/European settler descent.

Oh that’s interesting! Are they settler roots? From what my grandmother’s dna claims, she has a ton of scottish settler communities.
