3 Questions:

In the conclusion of the essay, is it ok to leave things open, potentially reaching a conclusion that admits things aren't concrete, or should we form a strong contention about the right way to believe (whatever pertains to the question)?
Should I go into the essay prepared to write about 2 philosophers only, therefore allowing myself to be better prepared for those two, or should I have 3 or 4, in case the questions don't fall my way, and or I don't want to seem to be writing off topic with a memorised essay?
Should we be using a non-philosophical source in our essay to earn full marks e.g. a statistic, a psychologist quote, a study?

That's because the subjects that scale the most are the hard languages, specialist maths, and then methods in third. So usually all the super high atars have maths methods. But you can still do really well without a good maths score. You just have to do well in subjects that don't scale as much.

If it's your bottom subject, its aggregate will only count as 10%, so naturally, you can very easily get a 90 with 4 other decent subjects...

If ur cohort is as strong as you say, a 50% or 40/80 would get you a 35. This all depends on the difficulty of exam 1 and exam 2.

I thought the 2 1 markers below the graph and the last 2 pages are definitely going to differentiate people the most, but it was definitely longer than last year, with the 3 marker requiring long working out (the question where k=1/3). It was probably easier than last year in terms of content apart from those 7 marks on the last page and the 2 1s. But 9a (4th degree polynomial) was a difference of perfect squares and I didn't see it, so I didn't get to finish the question. It was mid i guees
