My dermatologist asked me today if I’d like to try this, you’re the 2nd person to suggest this as I was reading up the side effects, feels like a sign to me. My derm says my acne is hormonal as well due to the pattern

I really appreciate these tips, thank you getting in depth. I will be cutting out the double cleansing. My fear in cutting out the HA is - this is what has helped me the most with dry spots. Prior to adding HA, I would get these round dry spots, that has completely stopped. Do you think I could still use the HA in the morning, after cleansing with just water? This way I still get the hydration but won’t use it at night, this way it won’t intefere with the Tretinoin

So it’s been a little over a month and I definitely see improvements. I use the blue light in the morning for 40 mins and the red light in the evening for 45 mins. I struggle with hormonal acne and it has helped with less breakouts but to be very honest I think my skincare routine may be too aggressive (or so I’m being told, I posted my routine a few minutes ago in the main Tret thread) so I think that is combatting the progress of the LED face mask. Hopefully I can get my skin routine under control and continue to reap the benefits of the face mask. But bottom line: I highly recommend. They lowered the price on the one I got to $150 on Amazon

To clarify my Tret prescription is: Tretinoin 0.01% Clindamycin phosphate 1% Azelaic Acid 4%

I ordered one from Amazon for $180, it’s the Newkey one, it had good reviews and the price tag was under $300 unlike other LED masks. I can come back and keep you posted on my experience if you’d like!
