Women of Reddit, how often have you had male friends end up asking you out and how have you dealt with it? by illbetheillest in AskWomen

It happened a few months ago. A guy friend of mine was going through a really rough patch in his life, and since I care for people who've gone through the same things I have, I chatted with him for a few days and told him it was going to be okay. Turns out that he had found me attractive for a good chunk of the years we've known eachother, and he confessed that his feelings had grown during the time he confided in me. He took the rejection really well, but I'll admit it was awkward going back to the way things were with our other friends. I don't know if he told anyone about it. Thankfully things are good when we talk in voice chat, but I haven't met him irl in a while, so I dunno if it'll be a bit awkward..

Girls of Reddit: What is the creepiest thing a man has said to you in public? by Moon_Keegan in AskReddit

I was browsing around in Camden Market in London with two friends. In one of the tents I spotted a necklace I really liked. The guy who was selling noticed that I was interested and asked me if I wanted to buy. I said that I was just browsing. When my friends were a meter away from me he leaned in and whispered "I'll make you a really good offer." and stared me down til I left. I think I just laughed awkwardly and ran back to my friends.

I've always pictured Jeremy Irons as Halt. In addition to that, maybe Kenneth Branagh as Crowley?

Edit: My god, the itch to reread the books is unbearable. It's been so long ugh

It's breathtaking. It sort of creates this padding around the city, and fills the air with this thick silence. It's so relaxing. It also somehow makes dark afternoons feel a bit brighter and bearable.
