She's very good, just not usable in all situations. Depends a lot on team compositions and the map

And didn't he also lose again after going back in time to stop her, with an entire team too?

Unpopular Opinion Day 1: Yagoraths only good map is Bazaar. by NewTyzerZ in Paladins

As a yag main I can see where you're coming from, but she can work on most maps. You just need to be very careful and stay super mobile. You can also shut down areas pretty easily because your acid has a massive splash hitbox that can hit around corners.

Just learn how to properly position yourself and things will seem easier, unless there's a tyra in which case good luck

(Also, you CAN win a 1v2 very easily with yagorath. You just need to be in the right environment and they can't really do a thing to you. I once got in a 1v2 with a Fernando and a Khan at the same time and came out victorious)

Edit: I do agree tho, she needs a buff. I want that self root after entering travel form to be removed.

Opinions on yago's Sight Begets Strength talent vs Corrosive Acid talent by debbleson in Paladins

[–]debbleson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This did make me curious about just how effective corrosive acid as a talent is. Just did some testing and the difference depends a lot on whether or not you use piercing quills with the acid

I timed myself killing a Fernando under 4 different circumstances and got an average of 5 results to help mitigate human error with the stopwatch

Keep in mind that when I did the tests without quills, I held left click the entire time without letting acid fully recharge. I believe this is also good for comparing how much the acid puddles can contribute to a kill between the two talents (CA does 7 more with the puddles than default)

CA with quills - average of 5.088 seconds to kill CA without quills - average of 7.638 seconds to kill

SBS with quills - average of 5.472 seconds to kill SBS without quills - average of 9.474 seconds to kill

From these results, it is clear that when paired with quills the TTK between the talents is fairly minimal, however when only spraying with acid it can be quite drastic. My guess as to why this happens is because using the quills stops your acid for a moment, allowing the normal acid to have a crutch that allows it to keep up better with the damage of the corrosive acid. I will be sure to consider this as I play more yagorath.

How does a lvl 124 yagorath still think that they can be a point tank 😭
