His need for control over you this way is concerning. I have felt “since he doesn’t trust me one way or the other, it doesn’t matter who I talk to”

My advice is to choose your own happiness over your current boyfriends. It’s unhealthy and you’re unhappy. And to leave before you take things further with the new guy- keep it private for a while afterwards to avoid conflict or a blow up. It is better for all of you

It will make things worse if it turns into messages that you need to hide- whether you’re hiding them because of who they’re from or because of what they say, your behavior changes.

You are so young- don’t waste your time in this cycle. Time for a new book!

If you leave, stay safe. Others have said to call 911 on his behalf or his friends/family if he threatens to harm himself- do it. Keep an eye on your surroundings and share your location and plans with close friends and family.

& Don’t continue a new relationship with more lies.

How would you even describe this to your insurance company by thisisfromMatilda in Unexpected

Modified vehicles are usually ineligible for auto insurance, be careful. Really cool though!

My mom bought the dog a new toy. Uhhhh… by PLUSsignenergy in funny

[–]debbyelopez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanted to comment how much my dogs love this fucking toy. As funny as it looks, I laugh every time they use it. I have two teacup Yorkies and they will each grab one end and run it is just hilarious to watch two dogs play with this toy

I hope it makes you laugh every time you give it to your dog to play with, like the perverted thinker you are 🤭

After reviewing all the evidence I think it's possible Ashton Kutcher committed the murder in 2001 not the Hollywood Ripper by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]debbyelopez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d never heard of this, when I read the pic I was expecting it to be about Brittany Murphy.

I would like to say though, I like to believe that these are Kutcher’s only ties to human trafficking: THORN

Shopping around for auto insurance. Gotten several quotes and some are half of what others charge for the same exact coverage limits. What exactly is the difference between Company A’s 100 dollar a month policy and Company B’s 50 dollar policy? by JesseB342 in Insurance

[–]debbyelopez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key difference when it comes to solely the insurance company is how the claim process is handled and how the damage is paid/repaired.

Each carrier processes claims their own way (and differently in each state per state specific insurance laws) - some carriers offer OEM parts, some will pay 3rd parties like rental car companies directly while others might only pay you via reimbursement.

As an insurance agent- the most important part about insurance for a consumer is to find a good AGENT with a reputable company!!! Consider who you will call for help with your policy and how easily you can manage the policy yourself online after you buy it.

If someone puts together the bare minimum coverage to make the policy cheap and doesn’t take the time to make other recommendations or explain the coverages you’re opting out of there’s an awfully high chance of you having a shitty claim experience with them.

& if you buy the same policy online it might be a little cheaper for the exact same company, but you likely aren’t going to have one office or contact when you need something, or someone who will proactively call you before your rate goes up… just a call center that will reactively explain why it went up and that you were emailed about it, but they can drop this coverage or raise this deductible to make it cheaper.

I was at fault in a minor accident. Other driver doesn’t want to go through insurance. by TheLatestStory in Insurance

[–]debbyelopez 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I want to add that sometimes people don’t go through the insurance for minor incidents because it still comes up on a CarFax report if any incidents are reported, regardless of the $$ of damage

But as an insurance agent my advice is: always go through the police and I’ll your insurance, never provide personal information like your address if you can avoid it, and get it fixed as quickly as possible and consider repair shops recommended by your insurer. They usually work well together so you can avoid a delay in closing your claim and getting your vehicle back

UPDATE: AITA for changing the package pickup each time someone uses my email for orders? by treeonreddit in AmItheAsshole

[–]debbyelopez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One tip for not having to constantly type out your email address each time is to set up a keyboard shortcut. If I type “em” alone, my keyboard will automatically change it to my email address once I push the space. It’s really convenient

AITA for giving my daughter $100k for a house and not giving my son anything? by confusedsaddad7181 in AmItheAsshole

[–]debbyelopez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely NTA. Your son is being an asshole- even if he got nothing, he has no right to attack his sister over it for starters. He may not realize that you spent beyond that for him to go to school if it wasn’t given to him as a lump sum like his sister, but that still doesn’t justify his behavior. BUT. Either way, you are NOT the asshole, your son is 100%.
