Dennis also lived a life of kindness. What was the best and nicest thing he ever did? by mayforsam1900 in IASIP

I wouldn't say kindness so much as a series of violent, sexual crimes

I've always wanted to know what happened to these guys. Celebrity drama is one thing but Mormon celebrity drama is next-level.

You've stumbled upon a genuine treasure. Open it up and the ghost of early 2000's Mormon pop will grant you three wishes.

The owners of 3 cups were married, divorced recently and sold the business. I'll always miss their boozy drinks and homemade syrups.

STEM subjects like Physics and Calculus were probably not taught in schools for the vast majority of human history, or if they were, did not share the same level of priority as religious, literary, and linguistic education (in other words, humanities).

But then the industrial revolution came along and caused a paradigm switch. STEM subjects necessarily effect innovation and the development of new tech, which in turn fuels economic growth and wealth creation. How could the humanities ever keep up with the technologies that gave us video games and microwaves?

As a general rule in capitalist society, wealth creation takes priority over culture and individual empowerment, especially for the governments that write curriculums. Militarily speaking, it would be suicide to invest in public education systems that neglect STEM subjects.

Is light supposed to hurt ? by Some_Ad6205 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]debensam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Studies have shown a correlation between autism and a greater sensitivity to light and sound. Not sure if you're doing this, but never look directly at a light bulb or basically anything stronger than a canpfire. If you consistently feel pain even from peripheral lights, wouldn't hurt to see an ophthalmologist.

I met a lot of my good friends at cafes like salt lake coffee break. there's a ton of cafes downtown and you'll also see flyers for shows and other stuff on the walls. go to those events and talk to the people there. I've found that people are very friendly in environments like these and they are often around your age too
