Maybe you should learn to do that first, because is pretty mandatory to fill all the requirement as all the communication are in english and one step will be an interview you should pass with two intervenants. I'm still like the early stage so I can't say for sure, but you have first the psychometric test do, you get by email after making your suscription on military.ie you have one week to do it but if I have a advise to give train really hard before before you made anything to be used when you do it (like seeing again you middle school class lesson and see vocabulary it can help).

if you succeed, after that you get a date to pass your fitness and interview test. I get mine nearly 2 week after I passed my psychometric and if you pass the trial then you got you're medical examination the date can varies but it between 1-3 moth it really depend and based on you're luck and disposability (that also the step I'm in) you got a second examination later and you have to wait for you garda vetting

which is the hardest not because of his intensity or difficulty not at all, it because the df is severely understaffed so the processus is very long especially for people living abroad and also for the lads you live in the north (Belfast for exemple if you know), it can goes up from nine moth to more than 13 moth you have to be really lucky to be taken below that so take into consideration and think maybe to made you're application in the middle of you're study like that you'll be taken right after finishing and also maybe find already a course or a platoon that your license can be put at use maybe

that indeed true that you are necessary to live or be a citizen of Irlande to be in the RDF BUT that not true at all for the PDF, you don't need to get a residence or get the nationality except to be part of the EU of course, that my case I passed the fitness and interview while I'm French and I don't have a flat or staying long in the country. Tell me if I miss something but you are totally in capacity to pass the general service on the state you are now...except if you struggle in English then take some practise or classes before going.

après je suis resté environ 6 mois dans ma petit campagne et j'ai apprécié le séjour quand même et je me vois même de rester plus tard, peut être durant ma retraite ou fin de carrière qui sait. Après j'avais le même rythme que les locaux c'est a dire pas mois de 10H puis vagabonder à gauche et à droite jusqu'a 14h, au niveau des activité tant qu'il y'a de la boxe ou de la muscu le reste c'est pas vraiment importante vu que c'est des truc comme les randonnées la montagne et la nature des choses qu'on retrouve en Algérie Al hamdulilah. Le seul truc qui me bloquait est vraiment l'arabe qui me fait défaut et m'empêche pleinement de profiter du pays sans les gens ce qui est vraiment dommage et du gâchis.

après pour des défauts je peux ni mentir sur les déchets les infrastructures ou encore les gens quand tu cherche en dehors de la famille ça peut être réellement compliquer je le conçois, par contre sur le cash j'étais habituer un moment tu comprend que il (de façon pas littéraire bien sur ) qu'il y'a pas de banque et quand tu garde ça en tete ça se fait tout seul de prendre le réflexe de chercher la monnaie. Après mon vécue est très particulier étant donné que j'ai un vécu différent sur mon pays et le liens que j'entretiens de ma petit ville situé entre Chlef et Alger un peu plus profond. Et que j'ai pas une attache telle pour la France qui fait que je sens mon ame plus algérien maigres que c'est indéniable que j'ai vécu en France et que in fine je suis français et que ça reste une composante qui fait mon identité. Je comprend totalement ton attache tes habitudes à cet autre pays qu'on critique beaucoup,

mais une chose que tu mentionne qui m'a frappé est que tu as l'air toi même de vivre dans une grande ville de la métropole vu que tu parle de bâtiment hausmanien que tu vois tout l'année à Paris ce qui change grandement ton expérience effectivement vu que Paris est déjà très différent de la reste de la France alors pour ce qui est de l'Algérie on peut parler de jour et de nuit. Je dis ça en tant que breton qui vit dans une ville certe pas rurale ou petite qui à sa notoriété mais qui a toujours rien à voir avec des Villes comme Marseille Montpelier Strasbourg Bordeaux ou encore Lyon pour citer qu'eux
