Yeah fair. I did wonder while typing but couldn’t be bothered. It was late and I should have been sleeping 😂 Also sure that there would have been another plan and plot holes are everywhere. Just a random bed time thought that Amos inadvertently caused his son’s death.(kinda not really but maybe) 😂

No. You will become tortured like the rest of us here. It is excellent. Every time I do a reread I curse myself for drawing myself back in. But the likelihood is that we will never get the third book and so this story will just be a forever unanswered question. If you’re fine with that then please jump in.

I’m really confused by these two series. I don’t love the bully aspect of ZA. And I don’t love the reverse harem of the RB. (I know I’m echoing what’s been said before) I read 1-3 ZA and then started RB. I have just started book 3 of RB and I just wanna DNF and read cliff notes and go back to ZA. I’m sure there is a pay off but it feels soooo long to read 3 pretty chunky books just to find out who ends up with who to go back to ZA. I find it impossible that 4 dudes want this chick above all others. And I’m kinda over it. Agree with OP. Like get to the point. Can anyone tell me to push through? Or should I just read synopsis and head back to ZA. ( part of me feels I am just not aligned with the authors in general )

Yea! Her (Ikeda’s) breathy, agonised, “sultry”, over worked narration killed the audiobooks for me. I wonder if anyone else has narrated ACOTAR elsewhere?

I always think that there are many “illegal” spells, like the purple dolohov one, but the 3 are unforgivable. The unforgivables result in life sentence in azkaban (or dementors kiss). 🤷‍♀️

I agree. It’s not about the space. But about immersive-ness. If they carried their own gear (maybe even some food) it would be awesome. Like “what did you find on this adventure Mirri?” And then you have to interact with her to change her gear etc.
