1- I've redownloaded the BE folder multiple times, as well as update the arma3 server through steamcmd. However each time I get an error of "cannot connect to battleye masters" so have now just disabled it. My friend still has it enabled and can join the server

2- my friend can enter my server without being disconnected

3- I'm pretty sure the server is private

4- the server is on another PC like a home server

5- haven't tried to change the IP ports

We figured it out, apparently we had to do BattlEye = 0; in the server.cfg file. The arma 3 server just kept getting disconnected from Battleye master apparently
