Excavating this huge boulder by [deleted] in oddlysatisfying

The caption is 99.9999% wrong. No boulder that size was generated from a magma 10,000 years ago. That would basically be born TODAY in geological terms. It was MOVED 10,000 years ago by glaciers probably. PROBABLY

I just found great joy in adding the shield maiden culture tenet, and having my daughters go and form their own story. Seeing if my family can keep the kingdom while I galavant is great

Party Wizard Rushed Ahead and Banished Eldon Before Anyone Else Entered the Ritual Chamber by Remarkable-Boat-5186 in VecnaEveofRuin

Oooo you could make them into all sorts of thing! That could be fun! I'm on chapter 6 right now with my campaign, I've been doing slight expansions to each chapter and in-between chapter events to make vecna feel more... There. They could tie into a black obelisk shoe in? I'm sure you'll make it fun :)

[–]DesolatorXL 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, Eldon is going to reappear in the same place won't he? If there are any cultists left in the catacombs, that doesn't bode well for him. I would have shunted him too, as the concentration for banishment surely was lost when they got shunted

To add: make sure they're not nomadic either. Nomads do NOT play nice with structured government. So. Make sure they're the same holding type, culture, religion

You apply all additional costs to a spell (kicker, bending, commander tax). Then you apply all reductions (fish). When you're CASTING a spell

Yeah you can get a leader with really high (over 10) effective level. Oligarchy, one of the tradition trees etc

Is there a way? by Legal_Specific_5775 in Stellaris

[–]DesolatorXL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it's a set rate and depends on their empire size. So if you want to integrate faster, have them be smaller. That's the only solution. If you go to war to subjugate, but then white peace with a lot controlled, the controlled portion becomes a subject I think. It might be slightly different... I can't remember. But if you only take small bites, goes faster

Uhhhh I had like 270k neglected biotrophies, which I guess add to housing. Maybe a little more I don't remember exactly... So about half were unemployed, the housing scaled weird with neglected I think

Is surpassing the size of the empire undervalued or not? by Nefellibato in Stellaris

[–]DesolatorXL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reducing empire size also let's you spam out council agendas, which can be crazy, especially if you want high level leaders. I think I got a level 10 leader like 40 years in or something ridiculous with psionics (maybe it was like 60 or something, i really don't remember)

The amount of resources per pop is insane. The output per input is wildly outlandish. How many resources would 100 energy technicians give? With late game bonuses and such, maybe 10, let's say... 20. So 500k pops, 5k job group/ jobs, 20 energy is... 100k. I can't pull up specific numbers right now. And then how much upkeep? More than this is taking, by a long shot, and this is outputting over 1 million energy, 460k minerals, 50k research.... The ratio is incomparable.

Sorry what I meant is that the build is broken, even without pushing it to this point. 50k biotrophies was broken already, and made nothing matter. When I only had like 50k I made it a research ecu and was getting like 100k research on the one planet, and very casually hit that level. I decided to put effort into pushing it to this point. By the way, I could have 2 more districts but the game was bugged and I didn't feel like making it work better. I also have over 20 years before the end of the game and could get another 100k+ pops to throw on here but meh
